we had a few rounds for the different interview processes, like technical and non-technical, that depend on the team and what language and design system we use. also had a behavior and technical and code challenge task before the interview.

The interview process for the SWE Intern role involved a few stages. It started with a recruiter call, then a technical screen, and finally an onsite interview.

The interview process usually starts with sending in your resume, and then they do a screening to see if you're qualified. If you pass that, you'll have a first interview, which might be online or in person, where they talk about your background and if you'd be a good fit. After that, there might be some skill tests, and then you'll have a second or final interview, possibly with some team members or even execs. They'll do reference and background checks before making an offer. Then you can negotiate, and if you accept, you'll start the onboarding, which includes orientation and getting you settled into the company stuff. Keep in mind this is just a general idea, and each company does things a bit differently.

It was hard at first, but if you keep practicing, you definitely get better. The main thing is to work on understanding the core values or principles behind what you’re being tested on, because once you know what matters most, your answers start to make more sense. Practicing speaking in front of a mirror really helps too. You get to see how you express yourself — your tone, body language, and confidence — and you can fix small things like hesitations or unclear phrasing. Over time, you start feeling more comfortable and natural when you talk, even under pressure. So even though it’s challenging in the beginning, practice and self-awareness make a huge difference.
