Office Manager
I went through 3 interviews and a tour of the plant. The HR Rep from Bodycote let me know what to expect and was always easy to reach and very nice. Everyone on the team was friendly and easy to talk to, and they took their time to answer my questions and asked some of their own.
- Can you tell me why you're seeking a new position?
- What is it that you're looking for in your next role?
- Regarding your career, what are your future professional ambitions?
Quality Manager
Had a discussion with plant-level management, then a phone interview with Corp HR. Then I got an e-mail with an offer letter (they got annoyed but will negotiate). Might have other phone or in person interviews to tidy up loose ends if needed. Then sign offer letter and return to HR. Finally, an e-mail or phone call with date to report or fill out paperwork.
- How would you handle a specific scenario?
- Standard HR questions to assess you.
- Some questions were repeated with different wording to gauge your response.
Quality Manager
So I started with a phone call with HR and then talked to the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview with four people. The next thing was an on-site interview. Everyone was really nice. I do wish they had told me how long each part of the process would take.
- The interviews focus on your technical knowledge related to the job and your personality.
- The interviews focus on job-related technical understanding and personality traits.
