Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Board International.
Account Executive
1 video call in English with a recruiter. Then 1 interview with the Executive Committee and 1 interview with the country manager. Finally, a 1-hour panel presentation where I had to present the EPM market and demonstrate a tool of our choice.
- Are you more comfortable in an AE or KAM role?
Account Executive
This was the worst recruitment process I've experienced. There was basically no communication from the TA team after I finished the assessments and interviews. They didn't follow up or give feedback properly. The process involved a cognitive and personal assessment that needed good prep. After I did the assessments, they didn't reply to emails or calls for two weeks to give feedback. Then, a follow-up interview was set up with their VP, and again, it took over two weeks for them to follow up and respond. After that, I had a final onsite interview, and then... no feedback for another three weeks. It was unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. They clearly have no organization.
- Typical AE/ new business sales interview questions.
Sales Executive
For this role, you'll need to be able to demo their Solutions, showing you know their products pretty well, including how they stand out in the market. They want you to get the gist of OOF, Supply, Demand, and other business aspects within an enterprise, since it's an enterprise solution.
- Why are you a good fit for this role?
Board International Account Executive Interview Questions
Quoted word for word from Board International interview reports.
“Given that the CPM world is small and people know each other and run in the same circles, how do you see reputation and integrity playing a role? The MD in France is very political and considers how he will be perceived by the CPM community if he hires a candidate from within it.”
