The interview process involved an unscheduled phone call with HR for some motivational questions. Following that, there was a competency/motivational interview with a team member. Finally, a case study interview was conducted, presenting a scenario typical to the business area. My case study involved analyzing a graph to identify cost and profit drivers. It was challenging as it required specific industry knowledge that is hard to anticipate without prior experience.

So for the interview, they started with a recruiter call, then went into a technical screen. They asked me questions on oops, java fundamentals and one DSA question of reversing an array. Questions were asked related to my projects, since I had used API calling, questions revolved around using API. Then some general questions like why idfc, are you open to relocation were also asked.

I joined an Indeed virtual hiring event and had an interview. The recruiter was rude and unenthusiastic. Weeks later, after I reached out, still no word. Then, a different recruiter contacted me about a week later to set up a panel interview. I emailed the recruiter when I didn't hear back about the position, but they never replied. Almost two months went by with no updates, so I emailed the hiring manager. No response from them either, but at least one of my application statuses updated to 'no longer in consideration.' The whole hiring process is slow and nobody responds.
