Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BNBuilders.
Project Engineer
The interview was short and sweet. They are really just trying to get a feel for the kind of person you are. It felt more like a conversation than a strict interview.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Is there anything not on your resume you'd like to share with us?
Project Engineer
The interview was pretty laid-back. I met with two Senior PMs, one of whom would actually be reporting to me. I was supposed to meet with another PM, but they had to cancel the night before the interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Walk me through your employment history.
- What kind of work do you enjoy doing?
Project Engineer
It was super chill and a good vibe. This was one of my first interviews for a serious job, so it was a good learning experience. The interview was a round robin style, and I kind of sensed from the start that someone else already knew the folks in the office. Plus, Amanda called me in after someone else bailed, so I figured they already had their person picked out. But hey, it was still a decent experience. They didn't get back to me though, until I reached out via email. Honestly, it felt a bit staged, like they'd already decided on someone before the round robin even happened, and it was just for show.
- Tell me about your interests.
- Where do you see yourself fitting into this company?
