The interview process with BMO was honestly one of the most poorly handled processes I have ever encountered. I was offered an interview where I answered a list of questions and recorded my answers. I was told that I would hear back within a week or two. After not hearing back, I called my contact person and was told they would check with the hiring manager and let me know. Again, I did not hear back from anyone for a couple weeks. I had pretty much lost hope at this point, but I again attempted to reach out to my contact person. I left a message and did not hear back. About five months later, I received a call from the person I had originally been in contact with. They wanted to know if I was still interested in a position. Of course, the only position they had available was not even at the location I had applied for, but one 30 minutes away. Needless to say, I was not interested.

Had a phone interview with a recruiter first where they asked basic questions like asking me to describe a time I had to take action to achieve a specific outcome. The next day, they scheduled an in-person interview for the following day. I interviewed with what I'm assuming were 3 managers, which I didn't expect, so I got a little nervous. However, one barely spoke and the other managers weren't drilling me with questions, they were just trying to get to know me. They asked for 3 words I think my FRIENDS would describe me as and detailed the training process. They also asked a few questions similar to the phone interview. It wasn't a bad experience, and I'm still waiting for a call back. The interview was last week.

First, I had a phone interview with someone from Corporate to see if I would be a good fit. Then, I had an in-person interview with my potential manager. They asked standard questions like strengths, weaknesses, and where I see myself in 5 years. They also asked about my sales experience and how I've dealt with customers, particularly difficult ones.
