First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BMO US.
Business Analyst
The interview process went well. I was really disappointed that they decided to cancel the French skills assessments without giving me an opportunity to demonstrate my abilities before making a final hiring decision. It seemed like they already had someone in mind and just wasted my time.
- Can you tell me about the tools you have used previously?
- How do you feel about working within teams that use both Agile and Waterfall methodologies?
Business Analyst Intern
The interview involved a video call where I was asked 5 general behavioral questions. For each question, I had 3 chances to record my answer and could review my recording before submitting. The questions covered things like introducing myself, talking about a difficult situation, my strengths and weaknesses, and my motivation for joining BMO Harris.
- Tell me about your previous work experience that relates to this internship.

Overall, it was a great interview experience; they were well-organized throughout the process, offered reimbursement, and the people were friendly, showing a collaborative culture. I highly recommend them.
- Could you explain why you're interested in BMO?
- Can you describe a situation where you had to...?
