I interviewed at BlueOptima in July 2021. It consisted of 6 rounds. First, an HR discussion where they ask about your role and some basic technical questions about Java/multithreading/collections. Then a technical discussion, followed by a work sample to complete. After that, a discussion of the solution you built. Then a managerial round, and finally an HR round. They might reject you on the work sample review round. Instead of reviewing your code, they ask questions not relevant to the work sample. Please read all reviews before joining this company. You'll surely change your mind after reading them :) Please don't waste your time on the work sample. I've uploaded the code to a GitHub repository; just search for blueoptima-throttling-api. You'll just need to run it. Hope this works :)

Confirmed questions7 questions

  • Could you explain the internal workings of HashMap?

The interview process had 4 rounds in total. First, there was an online test which included aptitude and coding questions. Then, a personal interview was conducted, focusing entirely on Java concepts as it's a Java Developer role. They asked questions related to data structures, fundamental DBMS concepts, and OOP principles, along with three coding problems. This was followed by a work sample task, and finally, a discussion about the work sample.
