Project Manager
The interview process is very thoughtful and long but intentional. You go through multiple rounds focusing each on the role, the culture, the team, and overall expectation setting of the job. It helps you get a real feel for the company, the people and gives you the time to also make an informed decision if this is the right role for you.
- Describe how you handle conflict with your team.
- Describe how you handle conflict with a client.
Project Manager
First, there was an email survey that the CEO reviewed. Then, a 2:1 initial interview with the Development Director and Managing Director. After that, a 2:1 technical presentation with the Managing Director and a Senior Project Manager. Next, a 2:1 expectations discussion with the VP of Technology and the VP/Chief Strategy Officer. This was followed by a 3:1 team interview with a Senior UX/UI Developer, Senior QA Engineer, and Senior Solution Lead. Then, another 3:1 team interview with the Project Management Lead and two Senior Project Managers. Finally, background and reference checks were conducted.
- Can you share an experience of handling a challenging client and your approach?

Project Manager
I got an email first with questions about my experience and job search. Then, I had a call with the hiring manager. After that, I had in-person interviews with the team. The last step had two sessions with 5-6 team members, each lasting about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Regarding budget overages, how would you manage them?
- What's your approach when a client asks for a new feature outside the project scope?
- How do you resolve scope disagreements with stakeholders?
