I had my initial phone screen with HR that started on time. HR told me that my next interview would be in person a week later. I had to follow up via email to see if the interview was still happening. When I got to my interview day in the store, I was told I'd get an update in a week for a final decision, but I had to follow up again for an update. I ended up having a 3rd interview that was pretty quick and was told I'd get a final update within a week, but never heard back.

I was really impressed with Bluemercury, and I'd love to work there. The VP, Regional, and District managers were there to meet me and answer my questions. They genuinely want to find people who can deliver a luxury experience and drive business. They seemed like a fun but professional group, and I hope to hear from them soon! It was a quick interview because they had so many applicants, which I can understand – they pay very well, have beautiful products, and great leadership!

So I saw this job for Store Manager, and I wanted to share my experience. The recruiter rescheduled the phone interview twice, without any notice, just a quick email apology within 30 minutes of the scheduled call. I had to check my email after the call was missed each day. Then they rescheduled again. The actual interview was set at a store an hour away from the position I was interviewing for. This store wasn't open yet, but there were two other stores closer by, one at Macy's. I got to the location 5 minutes early, and the staff was nice, saying the interviewer was running a bit late. I said no problem, but then they asked me to sign in. I asked how long it would be, and they said at least an hour, maybe more, as she was still with someone and had three others waiting. I told them that was more than 'a little' late and I wasn't going to wait.
