I finished the initial stage of the interview process. It was a phone chat with the HR Manager. We covered my background extensively. She inquired about my experience with Python, SQL, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. We also discussed my past job experiences, and she asked about my approach to previous projects. It was a good conversation.

This interview process felt really unorganized. They kept cutting me off while I was trying to answer questions, and employees were constantly coming in and out of the room, which made it hard to focus. It was the most unprofessional interview I've experienced. They didn't even give a coding test, which says a lot. The office space was huge, like a football field, with so much chaos. It was incredibly loud with marketing, then developers, then sales all in cubicles. You could see everyone! It's definitely not the kind of environment most people would want, unless you're into a frat party vibe with the sales team ringing a giant bell for every sale and everyone yelling. It reminded me of a telemarketing sales floor. Developers, be warned!

I'd already done a take-home assessment, but then I did another assessment on a computer at the recruiter's office when I came in. Before coming in, I had a phone screen with the recruiter. When I got there, I met with the recruiter and then the hiring manager. They were super flexible and let me interview super early in the morning. I got the job offer the same day. I heard that now everyone goes through a screening with multiple interviews, like a panel and an executive interview. The process might have changed since I interviewed, but I bet it helps both the candidates and BlueGrace make a good decision.

It was pretty straightforward, first you have a phone interview to go over the role and check for cultural fit. Then there's another phone interview with more detailed questions about your resume and how you'd handle specific scenarios. The last part is an in-person interview at the office. This final interview was the most challenging because you'd talk to two people, then go into a room for a one-on-one with the director of the department.
