First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
Software Engineer
My interview was for a software engineer role. They asked about my software development experience and some API questions, it seemed like a pretty basic interview. I thought I was a good fit for the position, but they decided to refer me to another team for an interview for a support role, which I was not interested in.
- Tell me about your software development experience.
- Can you answer some API questions?
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty straightforward. It consisted of some behavioral questions and technical questions. They mainly wanted to know about my experience in RPAs and the specific tool that the team is using.
- Can you explain what IU Path is, how it operates, and detail its components, including the RE Framework?
- In your own words, what does accountability signify?
Software Engineer
Had a panel style interview for over 30 minutes with the hiring manager over teams. They were really friendly and encouraging, but be ready because it could run longer than scheduled. It was a mix of behavioral and technical questions.
- Can you tell me about your projects and how you would construct a backend, including the dependencies and reasons for their use?
- Could you explain the HTTP protocol?
- What precisely are REST controllers?
