First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bluecore.
Customer Success Manager
My first attempt at a phone screen didn't go well because the Bluecore rep was about 20 minutes late. She apologized for the delay and seemed quite irritated, but we talked for about 10 minutes before she had to go. She asked me to use her calendar link to reschedule the rest of our chat. I figured she was just having a rough day or had a tough meeting before calling me. When we finally finished the conversation a couple of days later, she still sounded really unenthusiastic as I talked about my background. The day after that, I got a standard email saying they weren't moving forward with my application.
- Could you describe your past roles and explain your interest in joining our company?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process kicked off with an HR phone screen to discuss my career aspirations, company insights, and job details to gauge mutual fit. Next, I had a 30-minute call with a manager to go over my professional history, past roles, and reasons for seeking a new opportunity. The third stage involved an in-office visit for about an hour, including two interviews with a manager and two team members, followed by an HR chat. During the office visit, I also completed a technical assignment to assess my ability to use their software. Later that day, an email invited me to a final round, which featured a 15-minute presentation on handling customer scenarios and a concluding interview with the hiring manager. To wrap things up, I met with the recruiter again to discuss my overall experience with the recruitment process, the company, and the team. Throughout all stages, the team was welcoming and made me feel comfortable, conducting interviews conversationally and showing genuine interest in my career journey. Despite the length, the process was engaging. The office has a cool, startup vibe, and the team members I met seemed happy and enthusiastic about their work. Since I had another offer, they expedited the process to ensure I had all the information needed to make a timely decision.
- What is your motivation for joining Bluecore?
- What information do you have about Bluecore?
- What prompts your desire for a job change?
Customer Success Manager
I had an initial screening with a recruiter, then a meeting with the hiring manager to discuss role and team specifics. Next, I met two other managers and two team members to talk about the day to day, managing style, and discuss my qualifications more. After that, I had to put together a mock business review and present it to a group of team managers. The last step was a chat with the VP of Customer Success to get my questions answered and talk about career pathing and culture. The process was thorough for both sides. I got a good feel for the role and culture. Communication was great throughout the process!
- What is your preferred management style?
