QA Engineer
There were two rounds on interview and all were conducted the same day. The process was smooth and quick. Technical Rounds were done by a panel, followed by the HR round. Questions were mostly around the work done in the current job and few questions on the Supply Chain too since I was working on Supply Chain .
- Puzzles
- Questions on automation
- Database
QA Engineer
HR gave me a call first for the interview. The first round was face-to-face and technical. They asked about automation testing with Selenium and some basic testing questions. The second round was also face-to-face with the director. They asked behavioral questions and basic test questions, like why I'm leaving my current job and how I'd manage my tasks. The third round was a face-to-face with the hiring manager. They asked behavioral questions, some basic puzzles, and the same questions from the second round. The fourth round was with HR, and if you get to this stage, the offer is basically confirmed. HR discussed the offer details and my potential joining date.
- How do you find a control on a webpage, and what kinds are there?
- How do you capture a screenshot using Selenium?
- What's the distinction between performance and load testing?
Senior QA Engineer
I had an interview scheduled on a Saturday. The process was quite simple, and I only attended one round of interviews. Although I come from a capital markets background, the questions asked were not related to my subject at all. I should have been prepared for analytical questions.
- Given 3 switches and 1 bulb where you cannot see the bulb and switches simultaneously, what's the minimum number of times you need to check the bulb after turning on a switch to determine which switch controls it?
- If three ants are positioned at the corners of a triangle and can move along the edges in either direction (clockwise or anti-clockwise), what is the probability that they will collide?
- What is the minimum number of breaks required for a 7-partition gold bar to be divided into daily single-piece portions for an employee?
