I had an initial call with the recruiter. The recruiter was being really negative, suggesting that even with my experience, I wouldn't meet salary expectations and my domain knowledge wasn't good enough. She also seemed to have a poor opinion of my current company. It was unprofessional, and she gave off a bad vibe about the company and the job. I ended up getting ghosted – no interview with the hiring manager and no update on the position status. I'm guessing it's filled since it's been 60 days.

The interview process was good. First, my profile was screened via Naukri premium. Then, HR asked me to apply via their workday portal. There were 4 rounds of interviews, all conducted on Zoom. The first round was a technical interview focusing on PL/SQL. The second round was a functional knowledge interview, mainly about Demand Planning and other supply chain aspects. The third and fourth rounds involved discussing my current role and then an HR discussion. The process was smooth, and I appreciated their timely responses.

I had a phone call with the HR manager, and it was super professional. They wanted to see if I was a good fit for JDA and this specific job. After that, they said I'd be moving on to an onsite interview with the hiring manager and the VP of Applications. The onsite happened about 4 business days later and was just an hour long. I'd really like to work at JDA because it seems like a place that gets the work-life balance thing and is all about teamwork. I'm keeping an eye on their job openings and staying in touch with the HR manager.

  • Can you tell me how your background and skills align with the requirements of this role?
  • What motivates your interest in working for JDA?
