So there were 2 tech rounds and then a final HR round. The first one was a phone call, and it was technical. They asked me a lot about Java, collections, Spring IOC, and Hibernate, plus some Unix stuff. That round went fine. The second round was face to face, and it was kinda weird. The interviewer didn't even introduce himself or look at my profile. He just asked me what my favorite part of Java was and said he'd ask questions only on that. I wasn't sure what the point was. He asked some stuff about I/O and collections, and it seemed like he was figuring out what to ask on the spot. No questions about design patterns, frameworks, or databases came up.

The interview process started with an aptitude and computer knowledge test. After the aptitude test, we were made to wait the entire day. Only a few applicants proceeded to the technical interview, while others were dismissed without knowing their eligibility or when they might be contacted. The technical interview I attended was manageable and engaging, focusing on programming fundamentals and my academic project. They also posed common puzzles to assess our logic and knowledge. It's been a week with no communication from BSIL regarding the results.

The interview had a first round with about 50 questions covering Reasoning, Aptitude, and core Java, which were of average difficulty. After that, there were technical rounds, followed by a managerial round, and finally an HR round where very simple questions were asked.
