It started with a recruiter screen, then an interview with the hiring manager where I was asked technical and behavioral questions. After that, I gave a presentation about myself using powerpoint. Immediately following the presentation, there was a panel interview with four people, with each person having about thirty minutes, and there was a coffee break in between.

I applied online and the recruiter screened me within two weeks, which I passed. About two weeks later, I had a screening with the hiring manager, and that went well too. Then, two weeks after that, I had an interview with a panel. The panel included a Director, two Sr. Managers, and two Financial Analysts. Before the panel interview, I had to send in my thoughts on 'Human Access to Space and Space Flight'. I also sent a PPT with my introduction, why I want to work at Blue Origin (BO), and three finance project examples using the STAR method. The panel interview began with a review of my PPT, which took me three days to prepare. They seemed really interested, and we only had time to go over two of the three projects. After that, there were five 30-minute interviews where they really dug into my financial knowledge. Besides the project reviews, I prepped about 10 STAR examples (2 for each person) covering different topics. Make sure you have questions ready to ask the panel to see if BO is a good fit for you. The hiring manager ended the interview and said HR would contact me the next week. I didn't hear back, so I checked the BO job board and saw my status changed to 'Considered, Not Selected'.

It started with a 30 min phone screen with HR. Then a 30 min technical interview with the hiring manager. The final interview was 4 hours long. You had to write an essay about space exploration and then give a 1 hr presentation on your technical projects. The actual interview had the presentation, then a quick group Q&A where they really dig into your slides. After that, there were 5 back-to-back 30min 1:1 interviews with a 30min break. The first interviewer was a bar raiser. The 2nd and 3rd were technical/situational, and the 4th and 5th were behavioral with a little technical stuff. I think the mix can change depending on the team. It took about a week to hear back between each round. It was a good experience and helped my interview skills. The interviewers were nice, smart, and really into BO. They want the same from candidates, so be ready.
