Web Designer
Applied July 8, got an interview request July 21. Had to do a 4-hour Figma test, which I thought was weird given my 10+ years of experience and daily Figma use. Did the test on a Saturday. Had the interview on Monday. Was told I'd get feedback by Friday. Reached out Friday afternoon, they said they'd get back by Monday. Reached out again Monday, no response. Got a generic rejection email Tuesday morning, still promising feedback on the test. Honestly, if you're experienced and value your time, don't apply here. A friend had a similar bad experience with them. They should review portfolios first or pay for design tests. Wasting candidate time is not it.

Web Coordinator
The process moved pretty fast until they decided I wasn't the right fit. After that, they didn't communicate with me again until they had already hired someone else, so the other reviews saying they ghost people seem to be true. If you don't hear back quickly, just assume you didn't get the job. Everyone was really nice until the final stage with the President, which was meant to be a 30-minute call. The stages were: HR call, an assessment (mine was written, but they vary by role), a panel interview (about 2 hours with 3 people, not all at once), a VP/President call, and then the decision. The President told me within 12 minutes of our call that they 'cannot compromise on company culture' even though they'd 'like to hire for diversity,' which makes me think they don't see diversity as a core part of their culture. You probably won't find inclusivity there.
- Can you tell me about a negative trait you possess?
- What motivates your interest in this specific role and company?
- Which of your past experiences do you believe align best with the requirements of this position?
Content Marketing Specialist
So I started with a 30-minute phone call with the SEO Team Lead, who I'd be working with, to chat about the company and myself. Then I got a writing prompt to do. About two weeks later, I had another 30-minute phone call, this time with an Account Manager, focusing on teamwork and communication. A week and a half after that, I went in person to Charlotte for an interview with six people: the General Manager, Account Director, two Account Managers, a Content Marketing Specialist, the Director of Strategy & Analytics, and the SEO Team Lead again. Each chat was about 15-20 minutes. I also did a proofreading test. The next week, I had a phone call with the General Manager from the Maryland office, talking generally about the company and me. Then they said they'd check my references. After that, I got an email to schedule a call with the CEO. We talked for about an hour and a half about my background, the company's details, and what's expected in the job. He really stressed understanding the role since they want long-term people. He said he'd send one more writing prompt, and then I'd hear from the SEO Team Lead or GM about next steps. Five days later, I got an offer, which was fair and personalized with expectations and legal stuff. Basically, it's a long process to make sure you're a good fit and culture match.

- How do you typically operate within a team environment?
Digital Marketing Specialist
I went through three interviews, with two interviewers each time. It was pretty relaxed, but it was a bit strange because when I asked questions, two different people would answer, and sometimes it felt like they were just saying things to agree with the other person in the room. One interviewer spent a lot of time talking about how much he disliked working for big banks and claimed their office had no office politics, which I found hard to believe since it's a competitive environment. The person who set up my interview didn't have great social skills; she seemed very rigid and didn't give me helpful answers. I also had to complete a timed writing task that was really easy, but it made me realize this wasn't the right company for me.
