Behavioral Presentation

Overall a great experience, they covered a good range of topics regarding my career aspirations, what I would contribute, and my predictions for publishing trends this year. I spoke with two senior staff members who were both very welcoming, easy to talk to, and friendly.

Technical Other

After applying online I got invited to a 1.5 hour virtual interview, I also had to submit a detailed task beforehand. The questions in this first interview were quite difficult and covered a lot of areas. Two days after that I got invited to attend a 45 min in-person interview which also involved the preparation of another task. This interview was more relaxed and a lot of the same questions from the first interview were asked again. The interviewers were very friendly and in general it was a positive experience, however it took over a week for them to give me a final decision and ultimately they went with someone else. I also felt like the tasks required way too much time, I think it would be better to just stick to one task rather than multiple.

Technical

It was a two-stage process, starting with an online assessment and then an in-person meeting. After the in-person part, there was a delay in hearing back. Even though I felt a good connection with the team, it didn't end up being the right match.
