Round 1 was a general chat about my current role. Round 2 was a technical Zoom interview covering Java, problem-solving, and general questions. Rounds 3-5 were onsite technical rounds where I was given two programming questions. Round 4 involved discussing those problems, plus more puzzles, problem-solving, and Java questions. Round 5 was a 2-on-1 interview focusing on system design, my current work, other problem-solving and Java conceptual questions, and a discussion about the job's scope and goals. Rounds 6 and 7 were Zoom interviews with senior people, mostly situation-based and general 'getting to know you' type questions. After finishing, I was told I'd passed, but after a month of chasing them, they decided not to move forward.

I got an initial call via an employee referral. This was followed by a 30-minute phone chat with the team lead, mainly to discuss the role, its scope, and what they were looking for. After that, I was invited for an on-site interview, which involved three separate one-on-one meetings. The first meeting focused on the technical details of my current job, which was pretty straightforward. The second round was more about programming; even though I'd mentioned my programming skills were a bit rusty, I had to do some basic grepping and awk tasks. For someone good at programming, this would have been easy. The final round involved logical puzzles, which would also have been simpler for someone familiar with basic puzzles. They even offered ice cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a positive interview experience.

This was probably the worst interview experience I've ever had. They initially called for interviews, and after 4 rounds, they indicated that everything went well and they were ready to extend an offer. However, there was no further communication. After multiple follow-ups, they finally called back to say they had decided not to proceed with my application. They also mentioned that if I still wanted to interview, my time wouldn't be respected. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time interviewing with companies like this.
