Got some basic questions, and they hired me on the spot. They really liked my go-getter attitude. They were cool about my school schedule too. I liked the morning shifts, it was nice to have the whole store to myself before it got busy.

It was a quick two-step virtual interview. First, I spoke with HR, and then with the department manager. They are fast with responses and hire you after a background check. The whole process was straightforward and easy.

I applied online and got an email to schedule an interview at a specific location. I tried to schedule for a long time, but no dates were available. I called multiple times and finally spoke to someone who explained that interview slots fill up fast. I checked daily and still couldn't find a time. I even called the store directly, went through the automated system, got put on hold, and was disconnected. My second call to the store got a busy signal. I reapplied with a new job number and this time was able to get an interview time. I went through a group interview and then a one-on-one interview. I was told I'd hear back in 2-3 days, but after a week, I assumed I didn't get the job. Two weeks later, I received the rejection email. My experience applying for a seasonal job 4 years ago was much smoother. This time, even past seasonal employees weren't contacted for interviews, and it didn't guarantee a job.
