First, I got an email with a performance assessment that had a series of questions. It took about 35 minutes to complete. After finishing, I got an email for a phone screening with a current buyer at Bloomingdale’s. The screening was entirely behavioral questions, and they asked about trends I pay attention to. After the questions, they said I'd hear back in 1-2 weeks. I followed up after two weeks with no response. I kept following up and finally got a response saying I'd hear back in a week. It's been a month, and I still don't know what happened. I'm assuming they moved on with other candidates, but from a company as big as Bloomingdale’s, you'd expect common decency and at least a rejection email.

I was recruited through my college. The process was very straightforward. It consisted of two main rounds plus a super day. During the super day, I had the chance to meet many people from the company which helped me get a feel for the environment. The HR team was very communicative throughout.

Behavioral

The interview process involved multiple one-on-one virtual behavioral interviews. These interviews focused on your background, abilities, strengths, and areas for development, as well as your motivation for joining the program and the company. It was a pretty standard process for programs of this level.
