First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bloomin' Brands.
Accounting Analyst
The interview had 3 stages, with the first contact via Linkedin and the rest by Email. 1st Stage: With the Recruiter, I did a personal presentation, talked about my career, future plans, and heard about the company's history. 2nd Stage: With the Coordinator and Accounting Manager, we had a chat, I did my personal presentation, talked about my experiences, and heard about the activities to be performed. 3rd Stage: As a month has passed, I believe I didn't get the job and haven't received feedback. Opinion: The company is expanding, and a temporary opportunity might become permanent.

- Standard questions.
Accountant
The interview was conducted by two lower-level managers from the Concept Accounting department for an Entry Level Accountant I position. The questions were pretty easy because my background and prior experience were a strong fit and seemed to be exactly what they needed. The interview ended with a temp-to-hire contract, which was required for this role since there's a lot to learn quickly and an expectation to provide high-level customer service to mid-high level field management right away. I reported directly to one of the managers after accepting the contractor position and was offered a permanent role within six months.
- Have you worked with P&L statements before?
Accountant
Applied online. First, a recruiter reached out to set up a phone screen, which turned out to be with the hiring manager. After that, I had a round of in-person interviews with some Directors.
- Could you explain any employment gaps you have?
