Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bloomberg Industry Group.
Intern
It was quite a long interview, and I was a bit nervous. They seemed really nice, though. It was technical, and I got a lot of questions about different software and how I use them. It wasn't as behavioral as I'd expected.
- Can you tell us what sparked your interest in this role?
Intern
The interview had three interviewers who were all experienced journalists. I had to introduce myself and then they asked me a lot of questions about local and international affairs, as well as some random questions. The whole interview was conducted in English.
- What story would you propose if you were offered the role?
Intern
You'll do a video recorded interview. Three questions will be asked, and you'll need to record your answers for each. You'll have 30-60 seconds to answer each question, with 30 seconds to prepare. You have to do it all at once, and you get two chances for each question. It's recommended to do this on a computer.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What are some of your ideas that could benefit Bloomberg?
