I had a total of 5 rounds for the Mechanical Engineer position. It started with HR asking simple questions about my past experience. Then there was a technical round with an engineer, followed by 5 rounds with different cross-functional teams. Finally, there was a behavioral round and an HR round.

I first applied through Indeed and then a recruiter reached out about scheduling a phone interview with the hiring manager, which happened two weeks later. After that, they invited me for an onsite interview. The onsite went really well, I had a great chat with the technical team who are clearly experts in their field, and they seemed very impressed. However, the HR team was really slow, taking about 4 months to finally make an offer over the phone. What they offered was pretty low for someone with 3 years of experience, barely okay for an entry-level role and especially considering the cost of living in California. The recruiter was also quite stubborn during negotiations and frankly, pretty disrespectful. So, I ended up politely declining the offer.
