The interview process was very positive, the team was great. They were extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. There were many steps, which was a bit challenging, but the team was overall a wonderful group and they wanted to learn as much as they could about my experience.

So, first I talked to HR, then the hiring manager. After that, there were two more interviews lined up, and then I had a final chat with the hiring manager again. The whole thing took over 3 weeks. Honestly, I got the impression they didn't really have a role open and were just interviewing for the sake of it.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter was kinda slow to get back to me and made me book time on her calendar. I get that it's supposed to be a tech thing to make scheduling easier, but it just felt really impersonal and disconnected. After we scheduled the first interview, the coordinator changed the time without checking with me first, just sent a calendar invite. The first interview was only 30 mins and they didn't even ask about my background or what I could do for them, which is super weird for any job, especially a senior one. They told me I didn't get it because someone else had more experience. I know there was a gap, but I don't know how they figured that out since they never asked about my experience. If my resume was the only thing, they shouldn't have interviewed me. When I talked to the recruiter about it, it was all excuses instead of taking any responsibility for the bad experience. Honestly, I felt disrespected and like my time wasn't valued.
