The interview was great, on time, with awesome questions and an awesome interviewer. Overall, it was the best experience with no issues. Everyone was friendly, and I got to meet nice people. There was a great leader conversation and a walk during the interview, with great detail making it easy to learn the job.

I was contacted by the company after applying online for a phone interview. They asked me basic questions and we reviewed the hours of availability I submitted on my application. They stated the position is strictly nights and weekends only and questioned my ability to qualify due to lack of transportation. They advised me to call back if my situation changes and I obtain a vehicle. I found their comments about my transportation to be insensitive and the phone call to be a waste of time. Considering they knew I couldn't work weekends and nights, I question why they contacted me.

For the Ambassador roles here, you'll meet with the Operations Manager, who's basically the main person in charge of ambassadors for the account. They handle most of their work in the office during the first shift but are supposed to do a walk-around outside for about an hour each day. Depending on where you're applying in the US, there are typically three kinds of ambassador positions: Safety, Clean, and Hospitality. The interview process usually has three parts. First, the ops manager will ask you some standard corporate questions and take notes. Second, the ops manager will take you on a tour of the area you'd be working in, which usually lasts one to two hours. Just show you're interested during this part by making comments and asking questions. If you see any trash, like a bottle or paper, pick it up. Doing this really impresses the ops manager, and you'll pretty much get the job. The third part involves getting your uniforms (the cost is taken out of your paycheck), undergoing a drug test, and meeting some of the team.

I was contacted on LinkedIn for an initial phone call. Following that, I had an in-person meeting with the DVP. Then, I spoke with the VP and President over the phone. After that, I had a casual in-person chat with the President, where he was pleased to hear about my preference for wearing Polo shirts. Three days later, I received a job offer. I informed them about a competing offer and requested a few days to consider. They were understanding and agreed to my counter-offer of an additional week of Paid Time Off, and they were going to revise the offer letter. I declined the other offer, expecting the deal to be finalized with them. However, the next morning, I received an email stating they were parting ways, without any explanation or response to my request for clarification. This experience was very disappointing, especially after turning down another job.
