First, there was a screening interview with the recruiter to make sure I was a decent person. Then, I had two more interviews: one with a Department Producer and a Production Supervisor, and another one with a different Department Producer. They were pretty normal interviews, mostly just chats with producers and supervisors. Nothing too tough.

The interview process was long and tough, involving many rounds with different people. There were often weeks between interviews with little communication. After about six months of interviewing, I was informed that the position would not be filled.

The interview process was pretty solid. It started with a 1:1 chat with the hiring manager, followed by team interviews with production folks, and then more interviews with people from adjacent teams. I really appreciated all the follow-up emails. The initial contact was through a recruiter and was super efficient. After that, I got a phone call to introduce me to the role, cover the team, culture, how things work on campus, and job expectations (remote, but hybrid was also an option). The recruiter confirmed I could be remote as stated in the job description. They mentioned that production roles are generally expected to be hybrid, working on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but if I preferred that, I could discuss the logistics with the hiring manager.
