The interview process was smooth and all the people I interacted with were friendly and respected my time. Communication was made easy through phone, Zoom, email, and even text. All my questions were answered within 24 hours, and usually much faster. While any interview involves both parties assessing the fit, Blizzard made the experience easy, personable, and even enjoyable.

I had two 30-minute phone calls, and then I came to the main office for a series of in-person meetings. They were really respectful of my time. They really value their core principles, which is great. This was a big part of why I wanted to join the company.

I was contacted via email to interview and set up a time through a third-party site. The recruiter then reached out to reschedule. My current job has long hours and I'm in the office weekdays, so my lunch hour is the only time I'm free. The recruiter was understanding and we rescheduled for another day during my lunch. On the scheduled day, my phone rang briefly, but the call dropped before I could answer. I tried calling back immediately but got no answer. I waited five minutes for the recruiter to call again, but nothing happened. I checked in via email and saw a different number in their signature, which I tried. It led to an "out-of-service" message. I waited around but didn't hear back until my availability window closed, at which point the recruiter emailed saying they tried calling but I didn't answer and offered to reschedule. I repeated that I'm only available during my lunch hour, but would be willing to make other arrangements if needed. Ultimately, I was ghosted. I followed up but never heard back. I get that recruiters for big companies are busy, but it felt like they didn't want to put in the effort to schedule or interview.
