The interview process involved five separate interviews, but unfortunately, I received no response or feedback, making it a complete waste of time. Despite the team claiming a strong, diverse work environment, none was apparent during this extremely long and tedious process, which felt more bureaucratic than even a supreme court confirmation. I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

The interview process took approximately 3 months and involved about 6 interviews with various people in the organization. I had to consistently follow up with the team. After being told I was a finalist, I was later informed I didn't have enough experience for their needs. This was surprising since the team should have known my experience level after 3 rounds. The process felt unorganized and took too long. I even asked during interviews if there were any hesitations, and I was told no.

I'm not sure what the process is. They always advertise jobs but don't even confirm you applied. I've applied for two jobs over the last year even though I have 20 years of experience with fine art supplies, and they never get back to me. When I casually ask in the store, the employees don't even know they're hiring. Companies like Blick, which collect people's data, show they don't value our time.

Had a phone interview first, then an in-person with the General Manager or upper management. The vibe was pretty relaxed, and they were really looking for people with prior customer service experience and knowledge about art. It was a pretty nice, not stressful, experience overall. Just be sure to talk up those qualities. Having worked at a high-traffic store before is a bonus too.
