The whole process was pretty quick, maybe 30 minutes max, felt like I was in and out. But the real kicker was after a few months on the job when they suddenly slashed my hours to basically nothing, without even firing me.

I applied on Indeed for a new store and interviewed with the general manager two days later. The interview was very casual; the GM was simply reading questions off of a piece of paper, but it felt more like a friendly conversation than an interview. He informed me at the end of the interview that I was in his "short stack" of applicants. About a week later, he called me asking me to come in the next morning for an additional interview. The purpose of this additional interview was simply to make sure I was still interested, and I was offered the job on the spot!
