You get to meet a few people from the HR team. They ask about your past experiences. If things go well, you then meet with the HR manager. It's a pretty simple process. HR will give you a tour of the office spaces.

I applied on Indeed and got a call from the recruiter within 3 days. Then HR texted me asking if I'd heard from the recruiter and offered help. I played phone tag with the recruiter about 3-4 times, we kept calling and leaving messages for each other. Meanwhile, I was interviewing elsewhere, so this role wasn't my top priority. About 2 weeks after applying, I finally connected with the recruiter for a phone screen. She then invited me for an in-person interview at a casino. Two days later, I went to the casino and called the recruiter upon arrival. She met me at the entrance and took me to an empty bar. She asked a lot about my casino experience, which I'd already covered on the phone screen. I mentioned I'd been to casinos in Nevada a lot but only a couple of times in California before the pandemic. She explained the job, including the regulations about third-party companies handling the casino's finances. She also detailed the part-time and full-time options, shift availability, and stressed that overtime is mandatory for full-time roles. After about 30 minutes, she said I'd meet the HR Manager. The HR Manager then showed me the gaming floor to see the job in action. I spent about 15-20 minutes with her, asking more questions based on what I saw. She told me I'd get an email the next day about the next steps. I told both of them I was really interested and ready to start the pre-employment checks.

First, you meet someone for an initial interview with basic questions. If they think you're a fit, you then go to the head of HR. She'll ask some questions and then give you a counting test where she shows you cards and you have to tell her the sum.

I applied online through a job site and they called me in for an interview a few days later. It was pretty friendly and they had a quick test where they asked me to add card values.
