I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within a day or two for a phone interview. After that, I had an on-site interview, which was one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. I was interviewed by three people at once: the team manager and two people already in the role. While two of them were pleasant, the third was awful and made me feel unwelcome, making me question why I was even called in. I was interviewing with other companies at the time and was lucky to get another offer before hearing back from this recruiter. Even if I had received an offer, I would have declined because the process was so bad, and I couldn't see myself working with that team.

I first had a phone interview with HR that was under 30 minutes. She asked basic questions and wanted to know more about my skills. It was a good experience and she told me the next step was talking with the director of the department. After I passed that interview, which was similar to the HR one, I was called in to meet with some team members. Each meeting was 30 minutes, so the whole thing lasted two hours. I really connected with the team leaders and I also met with the VP of Sales, which was great. It didn't feel like a super intense interview, more like they wanted to see if I was a good fit for the team and if the team was a good fit for me.

It started with a phone screen by HR. The next week, I had an in-person meeting with a team member, plus a few phone interviews. A month later, I had a final in-person interview with the hiring manager's manager. The process was okay, but it was annoying that they didn't let me know I didn't get the job. Also, the vibe of the department when I visited wasn't great; people didn't seem happy. I got a bad feeling and was actually okay with not getting an offer because the pay wasn't good.
