I first signed up with RIM on their site and applied. About a week later, they reached out and proposed a time, which I accepted. The interview had two people, though only one asked questions. It was behavioral, as the job isn't technical. The questions were pretty standard, nothing tricky. The interviewer also helped clarify things I didn't quite get.

Two project managers interviewed me. They were looking for a motivated student with strong initiative for process management and project reporting. It was a 45-minute phone interview with a mix of behavioral and situational questions. They also asked some questions about the project life cycle. I got an offer within a week.

RIM is doing a huge hiring push, so it took a bit to get my first two phone interviews after applying. It was faster than the months a headhunter told me it would take though. The interviews were quick and to the point, not much small talk. I was a bit surprised because the recruiter said I'd only talk to the hiring manager, but their manager (a Director) was on the call too. It was good though, I got to ask both of them questions. My advice is to expect the unexpected and roll with it. I liked both the hiring manager and the Director from our 30-40 minute chat; they knew their stuff and had clearly thought about what they needed.
