It was a really long and drawn-out process. I felt like I was just being led on, you know, like a rabbit being dangled a carrot. Even though I kept in touch with HR, they never let me know when they made a decision.

Applied online via my school's recruiting site. Talked to a Black & Veatch person at the career fair. Had a preliminary interview on campus the next day. Got a call from a recruiter about two weeks later to set up an onsite interview for the following week. The onsite interview was set up like this: The first employee gave me a tour of the office, an overview of the company, and took me to lunch. I had four more 30-minute interviews with different engineers in the department for the rest of the day. Was offered the job the next day.
