Analytics Engineer
Had a recruiter call, then a call with the director. After that, there was a technical test involving data modeling and a Python exercise. Then, feedback on the test with one Analytics Engineer and one Data Analyst. Finally, a call with the VP of Data.
- Build a data model for a business use case.
Analytics Engineer
the process started with a 45 min video-call with HR, then a 45 min video-call with the Data Engineering Manager. After that, I had a remote exercise followed by a 90 min video-call with two Data Engineers/Analytics Engineers. Finally, there was a 30-min chat with the VP of Data.
- Tell me about your motivations for this role.
- What makes you want to leave your current job?
- Why are you interested in our company?
Data Engineer
The process is pretty thorough, it goes like this: first you have a call with HR. Then you chat with the manager of your team, who asks some technical stuff but it's not a full technical interview. After that, there's a technical test to do at home where you have to build a simple data pipeline. Then, you debrief your work on the test with two data engineers who will challenge what you did. Finally, there's a call with the head of data, which seems more about cultural fit, though I didn't make it that far.
- Tell me about a project you've worked on as a data engineer.
- Can you explain the data modeling approach you selected for the project?
