I talked with a few of the leaders for this role. Each person had a different way of interviewing. One meeting was really casual and didn't have any hard questions, but others were more like a traditional interview with standard questions.

The interview process started with a 45-minute chat with HR, mostly behavioral questions like 'Tell me about a time when...'. Then I met with the direct supervisor, which felt more like a casual conversation than a formal interview. After that, I was invited back for a second interview, which also included shadowing a current employee. I really liked this part because it helped me figure out if the job was a good fit for me, just like it helped them see if I was a good fit for the job.

The interview process spanned almost two years for this newly created, specialized role focused on standardizing systems and processes across previously autonomous hospitals. I had about 15 meetings with individuals from business, IT, methodology, and management. It was a great chance to build new project delivery practices in a dynamic, high-stakes, visible, and important work environment.
