Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

The interview process was really nice and the Bizzabo team was great at answering my questions and concerns. It was pretty straightforward and went like this: 1. Phone screening with HR Manager 2. Phone interview with Sales Hiring Manager 3. Onsite interview with VP of Ops, VP of Sales, Sales Manager & Enablement Manager. The interview with the VP of Ops is behavioral, no right or wrong answers, just to see how you learn and problem-solve. During the onsite, you'll role play and give a product pitch to the Sales Manager & Enablement Manager. You need to create a scenario to get a follow-up meeting to close the deal. After the role-play, they'll ask for your thoughts and give feedback. I also asked to chat with a sales rep one-on-one about team dynamics, daily tasks, and company culture. Bizzabo is very open and transparent, allowing candidates to meet with reps to ensure it's a good fit for everyone. Overall, it was a great interview experience.

Behavioral Presentation Technical

The interview process was pretty fast and efficient, with five stages: first, a recruiter phone screen, then a hiring manager phone screen, followed by an in-person meeting with the hiring manager. After that, there was an onsite presentation pitch to an executive and the hiring manager. The final round, if you passed the previous ones, involved meeting with another senior executive. They were looking for someone with strong sales skills, enthusiasm for the industry, and who would fit well culturally with the team. The questions were pretty standard, focusing on their sales methods and processes, nothing to trip you up. They did give feedback throughout, but you had to actively ask for it, similar to how you'd ask for a client's business. I asked things like 'Am I a good fit for this role?' or 'Do you have any reservations about me?' and it worked. The only downside was that they seemed to forget it's a two-way street; you're interviewing them too. They came across as a bit arrogant, like showing up late to interviews, not leaving much time for questions, and needing several follow-ups to get the process moving. These small but significant things really stood out and left me feeling unappreciated.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a really positive interview process with Bizzabo. I actually reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn and after a few weeks I received an email asking to do a phone screen. It was a good call and then I had a phone interview with another Account Executive who had been with the company for a while. Only a few days later did I then get invited to an in person interview. I was really impressed when I went into the office as everyone was extremely inviting and warm. My interview was with the Sales Director who definitely asked some challenging questions, but seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. The interview lasted an hour. A few days later, I was asked to prepare a presentation and come back to present as a final interview. I came back, presented to two people on the team ( one being a manager, the other a team lead) and they then had me meet with one of the owners. I was asked some tough questions but very reasonable. 20 minutes after I left, I got an email from the recruiter/HR asking for my references. I was really impressed with the pace of the process as some places take months... I sent my references in and within 48 hours I received an offer!

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The sales team cares about numbers- so ensure that you have that down.
  • Also, a lot of questions around who you are as a person/culture as culture is a big part of the company.
  • I have a lot of interview experience so for me, it wasn't too challenging but they are very serious about who they hire...so you can't get hired without them feeling really confident in you!
