HR Manager reached out because I applied. First, I had a 30 minute chat with the HR Manager. Then, I got to talk to the sales manager, who was really upfront. The third round involved giving a product demo using their sales presentation. HR Manager let me know I didn't move on to the next round.

They proactively reached out and peaked my interest. There were 4 rounds of interviews and all seemed to go well and then I received an automated email 5 days after the final interview letting me know they are considering other candidates. I would rate this experience as a negative one as when someone invests a great deal of time and had to even reschedule one of the interviews, not because of me, and then sends a generic email like they did, it is extremely unprofessional. I would have considered the job, but know their OTE is on the low end and 2 weeks of PTO first year is terrible, which didn’t excite me to go above and beyond for this job. My advice is if you get someone to the final interview, call them and give them feedback. You would want the same.

First I had a phone screen with the recruiter which went fine. After that, the hiring manager wanted to interview me over the phone. But as soon as the hiring manager started talking, I could tell she wasn't really into it. The call felt rushed and she didn't seem interested in learning about my experience or what I can do. I asked her directly if there was anything on my resume that concerned her or would prevent her from moving me forward. She told me I didn't have enough experience, that she was looking for someone with closer to 10 years of SaaS sales experience, not just 5. It made me wonder why she even scheduled the interview if she already knew my background from my resume.
