First, there was an online round where I had to answer some algorithm and design questions. After that, I had an onsite round for more algorithm questions and to discuss my past experience. Finally, I had a phone interview with the US team to see if I was a cultural fit. They said they'd reply in about two weeks.

Getting an interview was straightforward. I went through three rounds of interviews. The people were friendly, though sometimes they'd misinterpret my silence as being stuck, I think they were just trying to be helpful. It seems like a nice place to work, with a mini cafeteria, a mini gym, and generally happy people. The location is also good. The interview questions weren't too tough, mostly easy to average difficulty. The entire process moved quickly, and communication was easy and open. Just be yourself and try not to stress too much about it, which I did.

I was contacted by a recruiter and sent my resume. The next week, I had a take-home assignment. After passing that, I went for an onsite interview with their engineers. There were two rounds: the first involved solving a data structures problem of medium difficulty, which was tough for me as I hadn't brushed up on those concepts in years. I managed to get close to the solution with some hints. The second round was system design, where I felt more confident due to my experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer in the end. My advice to the panel is to consider a candidate's experience when creating the interview. I would have focused more on experience-based skills and been more lenient on the DS algo coding round.
