I applied on the company's website and heard back about a week later for an interview with the recruiter. After that, I had another chat, this time with the hiring manager, which was pretty casual and included some tech questions. Then came a take-home assignment that I had four days to finish. Sadly, after sending it back, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with my application.

The process felt like 100x because there were so many questions before they figured out if I fit the culture. On the plus side, they responded fast and the stages were super structured and impersonal. There were 6 very thorough stages which helped me learn more. They were very keen to know my knowledge. But, I only spent 30 seconds introducing myself, and then it was hours of questions. The interviewer didn't care about the time. They also didn't know much about the JS call stack and event queue when we talked about it. And they didn't appreciate using basic built-in Array methods to solve problems.
