The whole process was conducted professionally in a warm and encouraging atmosphere. My experience consisted of several interviews from HR to different IT managers, engineers and senior business manager. I was made to feel at ease to comfortably express who I am and describe how my experience could add value to the company. Questions stemmed based off my experience and how i would handle different situations. The interview process was managed exceptionally well by HR and when there was minor interruptions or delays i was immediately kept informed.

The process felt like 100x because there were so many questions before they figured out if I fit the culture. On the plus side, they responded fast and the stages were super structured and impersonal. There were 6 very thorough stages which helped me learn more. They were very keen to know my knowledge. But, I only spent 30 seconds introducing myself, and then it was hours of questions. The interviewer didn't care about the time. They also didn't know much about the JS call stack and event queue when we talked about it. And they didn't appreciate using basic built-in Array methods to solve problems.

The interview process started with a Zoom interview with the Hong Kong-based Recruitment staff. Following that, I had another Zoom interview with the San Francisco-based Information Technology Manager. After their feedback was submitted, I was invited for two more interviews at their HK office: one with the Workday Specialist and another with the Senior Legal Counsel. The final interview was a Zoom call with the Director of Corporate Engineering, who is also based in San Francisco. After all interviews, I received a verbal job offer, which I accepted. The offer then went to the San Francisco office for final approvals.

The recruiter reached out to me directly, I didn't apply. The interview process was very long and chaotic, including a ridiculous take-home assessment on HackTheBox. The recruiter didn't know much about the role and was bad at scheduling. There wasn't a clear process, and the job duties changed mid-way. I had 3 interviews and a take-home. They said other candidates were better, but the manager seemed impressed with my ideas for their SOC issues, saying 'I didn't think of that.' I wouldn't recommend this company.
