This was an introductory interview to see if my experience and I would be a good fit for this role. I spoke with the VP of Engineering, CTO, and a Sr. Engineer, who were all the company founders. I was prepared for tough technical questions, but they didn't ask any.

Had an easy phone screen, followed by a tough coding challenge and take-home tests. The first round was a phone screen which I passed. The second round involved 4 coding challenges, where I managed to solve 3 out of 4. I solved the last one later, but they rejected it as 'overcomplicated'. I proposed an alternative solution during the discussion, but they didn't consider it. There was also an XPath test and a task to implement a test framework. They rejected these due to some mistakes in the XPath output and the test results in the framework not being 'nice'.

The interview process was quicker than I anticipated. The initial phone screening was actually the most challenging part. The process was split into two phone interviews, each lasting at least an hour. After that, there was an onsite interview with four different interviewers.
