Behavioral Technical Coding

Standard interview process here: First, a phone screen with HR. Then, a Zoom interview with a lead software engineer that covered behavioral and technical topics. After that, another Zoom technical interview with a software engineer. The technical interview wasn't too difficult, with basic JavaScript questions and a React screen share debugging task. The whole process was pretty smooth, and I liked talking to everyone. It's a shame about the offer though. The salary was lower than expected for software engineers and not very competitive. The HR person who gave me the offer was kind of condescending, like they were looking down on me. Because of that person, I now have a bad impression of BISSELL. I ended up taking another job where I felt more respected and valued, and the salary was much better too.

Behavioral Technical

So I had a phone screen and then a one-on-one with the hiring manager. Both felt kinda weird to me. But communication was decent and I moved on to the final interviews. There were four separate Zoom interviews. They went pretty well, but it was unprofessional that half the people didn't have cameras on. It wasn't a big deal though. After the final interviews, communication just stopped. I followed up, figuring I didn't make it. They said they'd check with the hiring manager, but then nothing. Super disappointing, especially since the recruiter's job is to handle this, and I still haven't heard back.

Behavioral Technical

The whole process took about 6 weeks. First, you talk to an internal recruiter. Then, you interview with the hiring manager. If you make it through those, you do an on-site interview. Everyone was nice and professional during the whole thing. They ask behavioral questions and qualification questions. For technical roles, expect questions about basic concepts from your degree, and also questions about how business decisions impact the company.
