So I started with a phone screen, then we did some small group interviews. Then, like, the job got tabled and moved to another product category where I had to do more small group interviews. I would have gone to the next round which was supposed to be in person on campus, but they took me out of the process before that.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The phone screen was just a quick chat to make sure we were both on the same page.
  • For the first group interviews, they asked some behavioral questions using the STAR method and also wanted to see if I'd be a good culture fit.
  • The second set of group interviews included a presentation skills check, a test on reading Nielsen data, and a lot of questions about Bissell vacuums, including my own experience with them. For example, they asked if I owned one, which model, why I chose it, and what carpet cleaner I used with it. My research on their website wasn't enough to answer all these specific questions.

Recruiter reached out, and we set up interview times. We talked about the job basics. Then the recruiter emailed me details about the schedule, map, benefits, etc. I had interviews with 3 managers on the same day. They discussed the openings I was a fit for and the specifics of each. Everyone was nice and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience.

Behavioral Presentation

So, I spoke with a bunch of people, and everyone was really nice, but then I got ghosted after doing five different Zoom interviews for this job, plus a few phone calls with the recruiter. To not hear back with an answer one way or the other after that many different conversations to me is ridiculous. If that doesn't bother you, all the people who I spoke to were kind and enthusiastic about the company. But the lack of communication is disrespectful.
