A recruiter reached out and explained the job details and salary. I went through five rounds in total and stopped because it felt like a waste of time, not what I'd expect from a professional setup. First, I spoke with the regional Pre-sales person. Then, I did a mock presentation for the pre-sales and regional sales team. A week later, I had a call with the VP of Pre-sales, then the CFO, and then surprisingly, HR in the UK. The UK HR person started with basic questions and discussed pay, which was odd since the recruiter and sales team had already confirmed the role and compensation. This made me feel misled and exposed the company culture. A few days later, the Singapore HR team contacted me. I asked them to reconfirm the role and pay to ensure I wasn't wasting my time again. As expected, they didn't reply, and I didn't follow up. They lacked the credibility and capability to deliver on their promises.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The process has 3-4 rounds, starting with a recruiter call, followed by a peer interview, and ending with a presentation of a working project. The experience was awful; they don't respect the candidate's time. The assignment alone takes about 2-3 days to complete and requires a live working demo (Live Chat System). A lot of management is leaving, indicating significant internal politics, which I also observed during the interviews. I interviewed twice, once in 2019 and again in 2021, and they oddly kept asking why I was reapplying, which I found strange given people often reapply to companies like Google. I had the same answer ready. They don't seem to value skills or effort, making it a 2-3 week time waste.

The whole process was really fast, I had 4 interviews in total, starting with HR. The technical and presentation rounds had some really good questions. I thought the product manager and hiring manager were both very professional.
