The interview process has changed a lot, it's way more efficient now. Tech like video calls and AI stuff has made hiring faster. People like that it's quicker and easier. But some are worried it feels less personal with AI and might be biased. They're trying to make it fast but still good for candidates.

They did a lot of mock interviews. Starting from the second interview, they conducted mock role plays of sales calls. I actually found this really helpful, especially when getting ready for the final interview.

Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview journey was pretty standard. It started with a chat with a recruiter, then moved to the hiring manager, followed by the sales director, and finally a panel interview. The biggest snag was the last interview round. It was super unclear what they wanted for the presentation, and they were completely unhelpful with any info or feedback. Basically, they sent a 30-slide deck with zero context and said 'pitch Message Bird to this company,' 'create an ROI workbook,' and 'build all the collateral.' The amount of work for the presentation felt unreasonable, especially since they gave no value props for their brand or guidance on how they do pitches/demos. Honestly, it felt like a waste of time, and they wouldn't even wrap things up with any feedback. I ended up pulling out.
