Behavioral Other

Had some good initial chats with HR. Then I met with about 4 or 5 people who are on the team. The interview was pretty conversational to see if I would be a good fit. Got some good feedback from the hiring manager. But after that, I was totally ghosted. Never heard anything back from their HR at all, even when I tried to reach out. That was just unacceptable.

Overall a very pleasant process. HR was very responsive and got back to me in a timely fashion. The interview was also very pleasant with an average level of difficulty.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process was a mess. They lost a recruiter and then didn't have a system in place to handle the candidates the recruiter was working with. Instead of owning up to it and apologizing, they gave lame excuses like 'it's summertime and we take vacations and then there are holidays too.' I waited for weeks in silence, assuming I didn't get the job, so I kept looking. It makes you wonder how they treat employees and clients if they treat candidates this way. Companies need to realize that candidates aren't desperate. When you invite someone for an interview, you should be prepared to assess them. Candidates should also ask questions to see if the job, company, and culture are a good fit. The interview is a two-way street. Their conduct after the face-to-face interview and before the offer was unprofessional and disrespectful.
