Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at bioMérieux.
Sales
I had an in-person interview with the Regional head and HR. It was a conversational and situation-based discussion. They asked about my local network and alignment with the business, as well as my product knowledge and understanding of the competition.
- What sales plan do you have for the territory you handle?
- Tell me about your sales plan for the territory you handle.
- How would you approach sales in the territory you handle?
Sales Representative
RRHH contacts you by phone, mainly explaining the offer, then listening to you. The technical interview in sales left much to be desired, zero empathy, I've never experienced anything like it in an interview. There was also no feedback provided during the process, despite it being promised.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What are your weaknesses?
- Describe your experience in the industry and in this type of role.
Sales
The interview process involved 4 rounds. I spoke with people at different levels, including a sales manager, an account executive, someone from corporate accounts, and an application specialist. The interviewers seemed really prepared and enthusiastic about working there. It was clear many of them have been with the company for a long time, over 10 years.
- Can you describe your experience with lab sales, particularly in the field of microbiology?
