I applied online and heard back from HR a few days later. They set up a phone screen with the department manager. The day after that, I was invited for an on-site interview. The interviews themselves were great, and everyone was really friendly. I spoke with 8 people in total, though one of them was remote via video conference. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job. The rejection letter was a bit unprofessional though, as it described the qualifications of the people they hired. I think they should have just said they were going with other candidates. It was a good experience overall, but that part about the hires left a bad taste.

The whole process took a while, but I really enjoyed it because everyone I interacted with was very friendly and approachable. It included a couple of phone interviews, and some of those phone interviews were actually panel interviews. I always got a quick reply after the final interview.

The interview and recruitment process was overall pleasant. Nothing unexpected except it took Biogen 2 months to respond to the job application which I submitted directly to their career website. Using a recruiter may have mitigated that but overall the interview process was as expected.
